wlc-300: major pro-seminar
This course introduces students to the majors in Japanese Language and
Culture, Spanish or World Language and Cultures. Students acquire
knowledge and understanding needed to fulfill Major Learning Outcomes
for the programs. Students identify and work with a major advisor to
develop individual learning plans. The course examines opportunities in
related professional and career paths, including graduate education and
teaching credential preparation.
In this course the instructors welcomed the transfer students to CSUMB. They presented examples of previous Capstone projects as well as information of Study Abroad program the University offers. During this class the students had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the credential programs, their major, their minor and other concerns about the programs World Languages Department offers.
